Aurolab Omniglo is externally attached to any surgical microscope with no modifications needed, no additional equipment or complex installation procedures. This makes it a hassle-free option for upgrading the capabilities of existent microscopes, effortlessly for cataract surgeries.

Designed for durability

Omniglo is built to last, with optics made of non-scratchable cultured synthetic crystal. The metal housings are made of aeronautical grade titanium and aluminum, making the device lightweight at 400gms and yet durable.

Homogenous binocular red reflex in any tilt position

With enhanced phase contrast Omniglo provides homogenous binocular red reflex in any tilt position of the eyeball and for any size of the pupil. The full red glow is even visible in a pupil as small as 2mm.

Enhanced stereopsis for effective control

Aurolab Omniglo's stereopsis enhancement optics is designed to provide excellent depth perception, even in cases where the eye has hypermetropia and a shallow anterior chamber. Allowing doctors the freedom of precise surgical maneuvers and reducing the risk of complications.

Omniglo has two warm LED lights with no filament, having a life of 25,000 working hours, which will last for 75,000 surgeries (@rate of 20 Min ON time per surgery). The power supply is dimmable from zero to 100% illumination making it run cool and last for decades.

Omniglo lights are completely free from IR or UV rays, making it totally safe for the macula. 0 cases of photopic maculopathy have been reported as the maximum intensity is 100 times lower than the photic damage threshold of the macula.
